It took me a long time to even realize that I have my own personality, my own preference. And I was so excited when I discovered that I have a favorite soap, or a favorite color. I have to search for my own personality. All this while, I only used my brain and not my heart. Soap? Oh, just use this one, this looks nice. Color? Everything looks nice. Just choose whichever.
I think personality comes from the heart. We don't will our own personality. It is indeed a given.
Like when I realized I like chocolate more than tea and coffee, when I realized everything looks better in blue, or when I get excited to have a shower just because I'll be able to use that lemon scented soap...
Having a personality is a given but discovering it is a wonder.
It makes you wonder about yourself. Who are you?
